Organic market at the university
A mini organic market was held on March 7th 2017 in the premises of the Cyprus University of Technology, as part of the project activities. The event was held with the cooperation of the Cyprus Organic Farmers Association and the Green@CUT. Many members of the university personnel visited the market and bought organic fruits and vegetables in prices comparable to those of conventional products. This is the first time that a university in Cyprus holds such an event, as an example of a short-chain supply system, part of the Green Public Procurements, with the aim that such events can be held more frequently at the university in the future.
